Aural rehabilitation includes an individual approach based on your hearing needs. At Shoreline Hearing Center, we will help you with techniques to hear best in the environments that you are in. We encourage family members to be involved in the process so we can offer education on how to support you best, so there are fewer communication breakdowns.
Assistive Listening Devices
Assistive listening devices are tools for specific listening needs. They might be used along with your hearing aids or as a stand-alone device. These devices are recommended based on your needs, such as a TV streamer to improve clarity above what a hearing aid can do, or a remote microphone to cut through the background noise. These devices can greatly enhance your hearing in very specific situations.
